Hey! My name is Kamakshi Diwan. I was born and brought up in Ghaziabad. A Delhi University graduate, I am a trained actress. Studied Theatre and Cinema from eminent institutes such as Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi; Bhartendu Natya Akademi, Lucknow and Satyajit Ray Films and Television Institute, Kolkata. I have been predominantly working in Indian Theatre and web content. I am also working as a theatre designer & director. I can speak Hindi, English, Urdu and Awadhi. I am also comfortable with dialects like Punjabi, Dilli and Lucknawi.

I've learned the basics of dance forms like Mayurbhanj Chhau, Salsa, Kathak and Contemporary. 

I am trained in martial art forms like Thang-ta, Tai Chi and Taekwondo

I also love painting and writing poetry. Amrita Pritam and Manto are two of my favourite authors. Satyajit Ray and Guru Dutt are my favourite filmmakers
